Latin Dance Band:
ONDA (Spanish for "vibe") is a top shelf
9-piece Latin dance band featuring an explosive horn section,
tight rhythm section, seductive vocals and percussion,
for an irresistible ONDA groove. ONDA's members are veterans
of jazz, afro-cuban, and Latin music. The band's sound
encompasses a wide variety of Latin jazz, salsa,traditional
Latin standards and afro-cuban rhythms.
ONDITA ('Little ONDA') typically
a 5pc. acoustic version of the band, is an alternative for
those with space or budget constraints where you just need
more of a background sound. In recent years ONDA has headlined
Boulder Creek Festival,Grand Junction Jazz,Taste of Colorado,West
End Street Jam,Winefest and electrified the Crestone Music
Fest, Nedfest, Boulder International Film Fest and Hudson
Gardens concert series. The band has been featured in The
Boulder Daily Camera and Boulder Weekly and enjoys a growing
following and festival presence.
