Irie Still was formed in 1995 with a style, steeped first and foremost in the danceable beats of reggae, but incorporating elements of Hip-Hop, Soca, Dancehall, Calypso, Funk, Soul, Latin and Jazz.
They have shared the stage with Burning Spear, Black Uhuru, Toots & the Maytals, Eek-A-Mouse, Culture, Israel Vibrations and Yellowman.
Irie Still is an overwhelming powerhouse onstage. Playing mostly original music, the band incorporates audience participation, soaring four-part vocal harmony and choreography into a live set that often stretches to over three hours without a break.
